It too often the seeds of conflict in airport parking management
contracts were sown before the ink was dry. On the airport side,
there might have been resentment at being forced to privatize and
the occasionally excessive political lobbying that operators felt
was necessary to snag the deal.
On the operator side, there may have been frustration over unrealistic
performance standards and slim margins provided by airport management.
These simmering hostilities often boiled over when a crisis arose,
