Designing a successful parking project on a university campus is an exciting and challenging proposition. When the project is located near the historic chapel on the prestigious and legendary Duke University Campus in Durham, North Carolina, it becomes an opportunity to blend architectural context and proper fuction..

The blending of architectural context, proper function, security, and site opportunities was the main focus of this project.

Duke's Parking Garage Ⅳ, completed in August 2003, received a 2004 International Parking Institute CategoryⅠ（under 800 spaces）Parking Excellence Honorable Mention Award.
