自踏入汽车时代50多年来，停车楼已经成为美国风景的一个重要组成部分。在这50年间，混凝土一直是最受停车场设计师欢迎的材料，因为它方便、耐用、经济。
然而，混凝土停车楼如果没有合理的规划设计和适当的维护，容易发生过早的退化。停车楼的磨损主要是来自于汽车、带有腐蚀性的化学物质以及构件，过早退化是停车楼的设计师和业主面临的一个特别令人苦恼的问题。
因此，停车场设计师在设计混凝土结构的停车场时要特别注意，同时停车场业主也必须密切注意维护的问题，以保证他们的停车场能按照设计的周期具有较长的使用寿命。

Parking structures have been an important part of the American landscape for more than 50 years,since the advent of the auto age.And,throughout those five decades,concrete has been a favorite material of parking designers,because it is user-friendly,durable,and economical.
However,concrete parking structures are also susceptible to premature deterioration if they are not properly designed and maintained.Because of wear-and-tear parking structures are exposed to from vehicles,corrosive chemicals,and the elements,premature deterioration is a particularly vexing problem for designers-and owners-of parking structures.
