Paying By The Minute; A Matter Of Time?

　　为何停车车主不能按照实际的停车时间付费呢？也就是说，如果你停车71分钟你就付71分钟的钱，而不是两个小时。停车场经营者仍然犹豫不决，害怕收入下降。本文阐述了以更短的时间为单位付费的方式，只是个时间问题。

At the EPA congress in Geneva it was an item on the agenda. Why is it that the parking motorist does not pay on the basis of the actually used parking time? That's so say, if you park for 71 minutes you pay for 71 minutes and not for 2 hours. Car park operators are still hesitant and are apprehensive of a decline in revenues. In the Netherlands the national daily NRC Handelsblad presented an extensive article on this subject in December 2005. in the article Ernst Bos broke a lance for a fairer basis of paying for parking. Car park operators were on his back. It this article we are letting the author defend himself and make clear that paying for shorter time units is only a matter of time.
