Cathodic Protection as A Practical Application

　　阴极保护是基于电化学反应的建筑结构维修方式之一，本文介绍了奥芬巴赫（德国城市）的Mittelseestrasse停车场采用阴极保护技术进行的一次维修。

Cathodic protection (CP), which is regulated in EN 12696, has been applied from 1980 in the United States. In Europe it has been used so far in Scandinavia, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom And Italy. In Germany there have some trial projects, but not on large scale yet. During the past two years the market for CP has been growing. Two cp projects have been realized, conducted by IGF GmbH, Suessen.

In the years to come CP of reinforced concrete structures will be used increasingly, but some detail aspects remain to be optimized and the work required excellent well coordination between all persons and companies involved. It is also necessary to inform owners about merits and limitations of this method in order to ensure qualified decisions about basic repair approaches.
