Determination of Parking Space Situation, Visually or Digitally?

记录停放车辆的车牌号，是用来确定停车位状态的最常用的方法。过去是采用人工方法记录下车牌号，今天有了数字车牌记录设备，利用这种设备，记录工作是通过一台摄像机和一台电脑来完成。本文对汽车车牌号的人工记录和数码拍照做了一个比较。

Recording of the registration numbers of parked vehicles is a frequently used too for the purpose of determination of a parking space situation. Traditionally this is done by persons who write down the registration numbers or record them vocally. Now there are also digital registration number recording systems, in which the recording work is taken over by a camera and a computer. By way of experiment the two recording methods have been employed simultaneously in Bussum, a municipality in the Netherlands. The experiences are described in the present article.
