Analysis of parking supply rates for retail developments in suburban
areas of Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane have been found to vary
widely if measured solely against total gross leasable area according
to research undertaken by Traffic and Parking. However, current
parking supply can be more reliably predicted using regression formula
which takes into account the actual type and mix of floor space
in the centres.
